• Free to use until 2 November. Everyone gets the full app, including users whose trial had already run out. Setting the phone's clock back doesn't extend it.

• Notifications when solar production starts and ends. You get at most one of each per device and day. Both are off by default.

• The app icon follows your theme (Themed icons, Android 13+).

• New card look: a soft grey glow just inside the edge instead of a shadow.

• Wider cards, grouped by what belongs together. This applies to the Today and Data tabs.

• Settings is a list of cards. Every entry and every section inside the menus is its own card, and Log out is a red card of its own.

• Name fields show the default name. Battery packs and devices also show their serial number in the corner.

• A quieter thank-you for subscribers. The green banner no longer appears at every launch.

• The trial continues after a reinstall, thanks to Google backup.

• Black in dark mode, neutral grey in light mode.

• Each setting on the Control tab is its own card.

• The widget editor is a menu of cards.

• Smaller visual tweaks: rounded corners under the top bar, a bolt on the battery in the energy flow, clearer figures on the Power card, more room on the Data tab, and the tab bar in the cards' colour.

• No more empty grey band above the title in Settings' menus.

• The app icon fills the launcher's shape instead of sitting as a small square in a white circle.

• Cancel closes the dialog when you edit a notification.

• Battery packs without a name no longer suggest "e.g. South roof".

• The trial no longer shows "-1 days left" after it has ended.
